I am a Berlin based designer consulting on visual systems that help people interact with editorial content.

I have spent the last 11 years building visual systems for people to interact with content—for different large german publishing houses or as co-founder and creative director of the social reading platform dotdotdot. Products I’ve built have around 35 Million page impressions each month.

Since January 2016 I am part of the swiss design studio onlab, art-directing On Display, a design magazine about the exhibition series Design Display at the VW-Autostadt in Wolfsburg, Germany. Beside that I am VP Design and UX at Steady HQ, a startup for recurring crowdfunding for publishers, funded by the Google News Initiative.

For the french energy company TOTAL, I led the product design for a digital live trading platform with and for Clapp Mobile GmbH.

I am one of the managing directors of the Berlin based think tank Zentrale Intelligenz Agentur—next to Philipp Albers, Martin Baaske and Holm Friebe. We work for a wide range of clients including ARTE, Daimler or the Berliner Senat. I talk at universities and conferences and I am currently teaching digital product design at the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft (HTW), Berlin.

I exhibited in various german “Kunstvereine” and museums like Westfälisches Landesmuseum in Münster or La Panacee in Montpellier, France.
